INTERIOR DESIGNER


Guli is a New York-based interior designer. Her career has started as a design consultant in New York, where she achieved two national awards based on design,revenue and client relationships.

She also opened up a small restaurant in Soho prior to working as a global design director for a private company.

As a global director, Guli simultaneously led several internal and external design teams globally on and off-site.

She holds Interior Design and Creative Writing degrees along with a Masters's Degree in Design focusing on sustainable and green living.

After her masters she has obtained LEED AP ID+C and WELL AP accreditations. Currently she is studying to get her NCIDQ certificate while consulting a company for a project consisting of 12 luxury villas overseas.

She likes to work out, play tennis, take walks in nature, and try new restaurants in her free time.

Client wants to have an office that has a feeling of a hotel. He would prefer local or close proximity suppliers who will provide materials that are authentic.











The design needs to provide different experience and excitement in every space.The project was completed by implementing various concepts form different part of the Asia such as Japan, China, Indonesia and Bali.

The client wants to create a space where the residents feel the nature. His primary stakeholders likes do do yoga and meditade in between tasks so the space needs to allow these activities.












The bar is where the residents get together for non-alcoholic healthy drinks that are infused from herbs. The old Japanese Opium House feel where residents can sit and lay on the floor was the best choice for the use.

ViaRayX is a toolkit inspired by ancient Egyptian Sundials with modern scientific and mathematical inputs. ViaRayX allows everyone to collect accurate sun data without the need for deep scientific understanding. It is a low-resolution, easy to use, compact and stylish tool kit. With ViaRayX, the hourly sun's angle can be understood just by looking at the shadow cast by the central axis
